Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Gray (ranked 3388 p4p, 23606 weight class) and Matteo Sanchez (ranked 433 p4p, 752 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez lands a slapping body shot.
Gray cracks Sanchez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Matteo Sanchez has been cut.
Gray thuds his right hand into Sanchez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Gray lands with a right hand.
Sanchez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gray throws out the jab.
Gray bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sanchez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gray throws a counter high kick but Sanchez was just alert enough to avoid it.
Gray drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gray digs a good body shot into Sanchez's ribs.

Sanchez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sanchez told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gray looks up at the clock and then as Sanchez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gray smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gray lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sanchez down.
Sanchez tries to bench press Gray off him but Gray keeps the position.

Sanchez is rocked!
A big shot lands for Gray! That's hurt Sanchez! Will he recover? Gray fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Hector Gray tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
