Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jasur Pak (ranked 3300 p4p, 3009 weight class) and Yamasaki Mishimoto (ranked 337 p4p, 313 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jasur Pak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yamasaki Mishimoto!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishimoto connects with a high kick.
Pak blocks a head kick by Mishimoto.
Mishimoto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mishimoto tries a head kick but it misses.
Pak slips a straight right by Mishimoto.
Pak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mishimoto is fending him off so far but Pak persists. Nope, Mishimoto circles away and we're back to standing.
Mishimoto was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Mishimoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pak misses with a takedown attempt - Mishimoto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mishimoto takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mishimoto stuffs the takedown attempt from Pak. Pak gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jasur Pak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mishimoto misses with a low kick.
Nice sprawl there from Mishimoto as Pak shoots in.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pak checks a leg kick.
Pak moves out of range of the body kick from Mishimoto.
A head kick misses from Mishimoto.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mishimoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pak misses with a takedown attempt - Mishimoto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mishimoto pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mishimoto tries to sprawl but Pak drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Pak is trying to control. Mishimoto wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pak is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Mishimoto is looking to stand up but Pak isn't so interested in that idea.
Pak content to stall in guard here.
Pak slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee asks Pak politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Pak prefers to stall for the moment though.
Pak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Pak controlling the position.
Pak has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Pak is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mishimoto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Pak gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mishimoto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Pak lets go of the hold and Mishimoto can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jasur Pak!
In defeat, Yamasaki Mishimoto stepped up to the mic, saying 'For every step back, I shall take 2 steps forward. Good fighter right there! He deserves the win.'.
