Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Snake (ranked 2951 p4p, 4415 weight class) and Will Hung (ranked 359 p4p, 503 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Snake! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Will Hung! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hung misses with a takedown attempt - Snake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Snake feinted there with a counter leg kick. Snake gets caught napping as Hung dives in and scores a takedown. Snake manages to retain guard. Snake looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hung is one step ahead there. Hung throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hung drops back, looking for a kneebar! Snake looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Snake looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Snake! You can see the frustration on Hung's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hung works over Snake with some ground and pound from guard. Snake is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Hung passes Snake's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Snake on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Snake tries to get out of the position. Hung is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Snake does a little dance to reset his feet. Snake appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Will Hung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hung shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snake as he jumps to the side.

Snake swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Hung misses with a wild body shot. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Snake checks a leg kick. As Hung backs away, Snake returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Hung fails to land the takedown. Hung throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Snake appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Hung tries to close the distance and clinch up but Snake swats him away and circles back towards the center. A counter left hand to the body from Snake misses its target. Hung throws a jab but it's blocked by Snake. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hung.

Snake manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hung shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Snake pinned against the ropes. Snake gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hung fails with the takedown. As Hung backs away, Snake returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Hung misses with a straight left.

Snake jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Hung fails with the takedown and Snake counters with a slapping leg kick. Hung is trying hard to land a takedown here. Snake sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hung shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snake sprawls well. Snake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hung gets slowly back to his feet. Snake feinted there with a counter leg kick. Hung is breathing heavily. Snake stuffs the takedown. Hung tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Snake swivels and escapes. Snake throwing a counter right hand but Hung manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hung goes for a double leg but Snake avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Snake continues to drive forward. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hung. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hung. Hung will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Snake throwing a counter right hand but Hung manages to avoid it. Snake checks the leg kick. Snake avoids the body shot from Hung.

Hung is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Snake postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Snake trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hung lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Hung looking to sit in guard and control but Snake gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hung working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Snake. Snake is sitting in close to Hung's body. Hung has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Snake is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Snake is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hung.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Will Hung! Will Hung is the new lightweight champion! Will Hung took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Don't talk to me. Don't tell me yahw nehaaym.'.
