Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon McClane (ranked 2883 p4p, 3653 weight class) and Kyree Suder (ranked 366 p4p, 465 weight class). McClane comes to the ring accompanied by Cypress Hill - Insane in the Brain. Kyree Suder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - McClane coming out on top.
Suder takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Suder shoots in but no luck this time.

Suder drives through with a takedown into guard.

Suder thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Suder trying to control but McClane is working from the bottom.
McClane has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Suder tries to free his leg and advance position but McClane is retaining full guard.
McClane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McClane tries to get out of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Suder is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McClane is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McClane has escaped and now he's on top!

Suder has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McClane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

McClane wants to stand but Suder is controlling his posture from full guard.
Suder wants to improve his position but instead McClane has moved into half guard.

McClane postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Suder to stand up.
McClane lands with a nice body punch.
Suder misses with a takedown attempt
letting McClane counter with a right hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Suder.
An attempted straight right counter from McClane misses the target.
Leon McClane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyree Suder.

Suder shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Suder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Suder pushes down on McClane's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Suder is looking to advance position but McClane won't allow it.
Suder stalling away here and it's allowed McClane to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Suder drops back looking for a leg! McClane is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McClane manages to kick Suder off! Suder jumps back into McClane's guard.

Suder is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Suder drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McClane dives on top into guard.

McClane would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Suder looking to hit a scissor sweep but McClane is one step ahead there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Suder working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McClane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McClane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Suder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McClane's guard.

McClane is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Suder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McClane swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Suder drops back looking for a leg! McClane is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McClane manages to kick Suder off! Suder jumps back into McClane's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McClane is looking to stand up but Suder isn't so interested in that idea.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Leon McClane will probably get the nod.

McClane's jab looks to have found its range, popping Suder under the eye.
Suder fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McClane avoids it really well and circles away.
McClane connects with a looping right hand.
Nice sprawl there from McClane as Suder shoots in.
McClane drops Suder with a straight right hand, right on the button! McClane follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
