Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Maia (ranked 5161 p4p, 4934 weight class) and Paul Dirac (ranked 593 p4p, 573 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirac moves into range and connects with a jab.
Maia definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dirac throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Maia on the side of the head.
Dirac missing with a left hand there. Maia was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dirac misses with an uppercut. Maia saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dirac. Maia does a little dance to reset his feet.

Maia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Dirac appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Dirac feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Maia sprawling to the canvas! Maia rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dirac finish him?!

Maia is rocked!

It looks like Lucas Maia has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Dirac counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
