Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deontay Wilder (ranked 3188 p4p, 3444 weight class) and Island Boy (ranked 395 p4p, 423 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Boy!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder scores with a crisp jab that stopped Boy in his tracks.

It looks like Island Boy has been cut.
Wilder misses with a looping left.
Boy looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Wilder misses with an uppercut.
Wilder's corner calls for a 1-2. Wilder obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wilder takes a swing at Boy's ribcage but misses.
Wilder throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Deontay Wilder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boy scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Deontay Wilder has been cut.
Wilder fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Boy on the side of the head.
Wilder scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Boy scores with a nice right hand.
A big right from Wilder misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That has opened up Island Boy's cut even more.

Wilder looks to land a left hand but Boy moved out of range nicely.
Wilder missing with a left hand there. Boy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wilder slips under a jab.
Wilder swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Boy cracks Wilder with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Boy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wilder to stand back up!

Wilder is rocked!
Wilder throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wilder looks to land a right hand but Boy moved out of range.
Boy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wilder bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Boy comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Wilder falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Wilder was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Island Boy!
A relieved looking Island Boy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
