Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarizinho Jankens (ranked 6143 p4p, 5221 weight class) and Stanislav Shusharin (ranked 669 p4p, 596 weight class). Jankens's entrance music is Highway to Hell - by AC/DC. A fine choice. Jankens has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Stanislav Shusharin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jankens shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Shusharin eats them both and turns towards Jankens to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Shusharin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jankens moves away.
Jankens staying out of range there.
Shusharin misses the jab.
Jankens slips under a jab from Shusharin.
Jankens tries to counter with a takedown but Shusharin is quick to defend against it.
Stanislav Shusharin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Jarizinho Jankens has been cut.
Shusharin throws an overhand right that lands on Jankens's shoulder, as Jankens tries to avoid the shot.
Jankens has been working on his boxing with his coaches at All Elite Training in the buildup to the fight.

Jankens feints and as Shusharin raises his hands in defense, Jankens changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shusharin manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Shusharin lands a big uppercut and Jankens crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jankens looks OK. Shusharin waves Jankens back to his feet!

Shusharin darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Jankens's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Shusharin before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
