Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Loureiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Freire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Loureiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Denis Freire!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loureiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Freire tries to avoid it but Loureiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Freire to the ground. Freire escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Freire looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Loureiro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Loureiro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Freire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Loureiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Freire is squirming around, avoiding Loureiro's attempts to control the action.
Loureiro prevents Freire from getting the reversal.
Loureiro swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Freire is now in Loureiro's guard. A big mistake from Loureiro there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Loureiro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Freire gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Loureiro is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Freire must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Freire trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Freire passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Freire is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Loureiro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Loureiro is not content to let Freire control the position.
Loureiro tries to buck Freire off but Freire is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Loureiro gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Loureiro moves into full guard.
Freire has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Loureiro to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Freire is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Loureiro pulls down on the head and he's put Freire to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Rafael Loureiro!
