These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gascoigne throws a head kick that misses.
Kocak throws a leg kick
and Gascoigne counters with a nice uppercut.
Gascoigne gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Paul Gascoigne has been cut.
Gascoigne misses with a hook
and Kocak counters with a body kick.
Gascoigne throws a lazy right hand but Kocak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kocak bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kocak digs a good body shot into Gascoigne's ribs.
Gascoigne looks winded!
A lazy left from Kocak finds it's target.
Decent striking displayed by Gascoigne there.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kocak.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gascoigne has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kocak.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick by Gascoigne misses
and Kocak counters with a nice uppercut.
Kocak lands a big uppercut and Gascoigne crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gascoigne looks OK. Kocak waves Gascoigne back to his feet!
Gascoigne is rocked!
Kocak pounces like a tiger and cracks Gascoigne with a vicious hook! Gascoigne is down but not out! Kocak follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Demir Kocak!
Demir Kocak retains his super heavyweight title!
Demir Kocak bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
