Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Azzy Azuki (ranked 4489 p4p, 4587 weight class) and Prince Andrew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Azzy Azuki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prince Andrew! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrew gets in close and instigates a clinch. Andrew landing knees to the head.
It looks like Azzy Azuki has been cut. Azuki is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Andrew to keep the fight standing. Andrew has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Azuki avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Andrew tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Azuki just stands there and leans against the cage. Azuki is trying to pull guard but Andrew turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Azuki is defending well against a takedown attempt. Azzy Azuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Prince Andrew. Azuki is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Azuki has Andrew pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Andrew manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Andrew landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Andrew pulls guard successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Azuki controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Azuki slips nicely into half guard. Azuki is looking for a kimura but Andrew is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Azuki to get the leverage. Azuki takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Andrew controlling the position for now. Well, if Azuki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Azuki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Andrew sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrew tries to get to full guard but Azuki has control of the leg. Andrew is trying to maintain the position but Azuki is very close to passing his half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Azuki is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Azuki seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Andrew for as long as he can get away with.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Azuki misses with a takedown attempt - Andrew sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Andrew feints the counter takedown. Azuki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Andrew swivels and escapes. Andrew moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Andrew throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Andrew fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Azuki avoids it really well and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrew shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Azuki as he jumps to the side. Andrew shoots for a double leg takedown but Azuki sprawls well. He's pushed Andrew's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Azuki half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Andrew keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Azuki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Andrew looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Andrew is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Azuki's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Azuki! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Andrew has tapped! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Azzy Azuki!
