And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Theador Cruse!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Barrett enables Cruse to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barrett manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Cruse looking to pass the guard.
Cruse is pushing down on Barrett's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barrett is fighting to maintain full guard but Cruse has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cruse thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Barrett won't allow Cruse to pass to mount.
Cruse passes to side control.
Cruse has hold of Barrett's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Barrett seems comfortable defending it but Cruse has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Barrett is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Barrett is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cruse couldn't care less - he's delighted!
