Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilman Vagabov (ranked 2098 p4p, 7100 weight class) and Mountain Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ilman Vagabov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ilman Vagabov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ilman Vagabov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 122 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera shoots in looking for a takedown but Vagabov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rivera's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rivera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vagabov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rivera somewhat.
Rivera goes for a double leg but Vagabov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vagabov continues to drive forward.
Ilman Vagabov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mountain Rivera.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rivera.
Vagabov shoots in and gets a takedown into Rivera's guard.
Vagabov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Vagabov could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Vagabov arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Rivera's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ilman Vagabov!
