Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Svenson (ranked 25064 p4p, 4276 weight class) and Seth Rockwell (ranked 747 p4p, 533 weight class). And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Seth Rockwell!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rockwell's guard.
Rockwell tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rockwell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rockwell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rockwell is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Svenson defends it well.
Rockwell is trying for a kimura here. Svenson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Rockwell wins by kimura!
