Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Doherty throws out the jab.
Maki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Doherty throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maki sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Maki drops his hands momentarily and Doherty takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Maki drops Doherty with a big left hand! Doherty is injured, injured bad! Maki jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
