Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Robida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robida kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Walk. Danny Robida has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robida is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sims avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sims wants to clinch but Robida slips to the side
and Robida counters by moving into the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Sims.
Robida misses with a short punch on the inside.
Robida breaks from the clinch.
Robida cracks a nice hook into Sims's ribs.
Sims looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Robida has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sims is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Robida.

Sims jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Robida walks away with a smile on his face. Sims gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Robida is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Robida, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
