Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Colby Brown (ranked 4971 p4p, 2895 weight class) and Yuuji Hoshino (ranked 266 p4p, 180 weight class). Yuuji Hoshino will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Colby Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yuuji Hoshino!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoshino is looking to slow Brown down with leg kicks.
Brown gets a clinch.
Hoshino misses with a hook from the clinch.
Brown tries to pull guard but Hoshino holds him up against the cage and eventually Brown drops back down to his feet.
Brown tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hoshino smiles and moves away.
Hoshino looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Brown drives through and clinches with Hoshino against the cage.
Brown tries to pull guard but Hoshino won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colby Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hoshino misses with a punch on the inside.
Hoshino manages to break the clinch.
Hoshino looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoshino jabs at Brown's body.
Hoshino clobbers Brown with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hoshino keeps Brown at a distance using the push kick.
Brown wants to clinch up but Hoshino keeps it at a distance.
Hoshino throws out a powerful jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown slips a jab and a cross from Hoshino.
Brown tries to clinch but Hoshino moves away
and Hoshino counters with a left to the body.
Hoshino uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brown.
Brown gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brown fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Brown drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoshino wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.
Hoshino has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Brown to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hoshino is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Brown pulls down on the head and he's put Hoshino to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Colby Brown!
