Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emil Nikolov (ranked 3216 p4p, 3399 weight class) and Purple Aki (ranked 392 p4p, 406 weight class). The key to victory for Emil Nikolov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Aki.
Aki lands a nice forearm strike.

Nikolov tries to buck Aki off but Aki is having none of it.
Aki is chipping away with strikes.
Nikolov is working to avoid the ground and pound but Aki connects with a decent elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nikolov is looking to reverse the position.

Aki passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Nikolov!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aki postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Nikolov looks a forlorn figure.
Nikolov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aki on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Nikolov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Aki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nikolov is bucking up trying to escape but Aki cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Aki lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Nikolov! Aki sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Nikolov and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
