Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taargus Paynuss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Taargus Paynuss! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paynuss tries to clinch up. The fight stays on the outside here - Paynuss looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Paynuss tries to clinch but Kerr moves out of range. Paynuss wants to clinch. Kerr changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kerr drives through and clinches with Paynuss against the cage.
Paynuss can't break the clinch.
Kerr gets through Paynuss's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Paynuss misses with a knee to the head. Paynuss wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kerr breaks from the clinch.
Kerr throws a sloppy head kick and Paynuss moves out of range easily. Kerr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Paynuss is fending him off so far but Kerr persists. Nope, Paynuss circles away and we're back to standing. Kerr fails with the takedown. Paynuss darts in trying to clinch and Kerr counters with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good work by Paynuss as he checks the leg kick. Kerr misses with an uppercut. Paynuss saw that one coming. The fight stays on the outside here - Kerr looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Paynuss wants to clinch but Kerr slips to the side and Kerr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kerr. Kerr manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Paynuss wants to stall.
Kerr tries to land a knee to the head but Paynuss blocks with his arms.
Paynuss trying to stall but Kerr improves his position.
Paynuss is trying to break free. Paynuss has Kerr pushed against the cage. Kerr tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kerr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nice takedown defense from Paynuss. No joy for Kerr on that attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Paynuss tries to clinch up and Kerr holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Paynuss is trying to break free. Paynuss with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Kerr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Taargus Paynuss is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kerr has taken the fight to the clinch.
Paynuss wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kerr has him pressed against the cage. Kerr pressing his opponent against the cage. Kerr wants a takedown but no success here.
Kerr jumps into guard, dragging Paynuss to the mat.
Kerr trying to keep a closed guard but Paynuss is proving a slippery customer.
Kerr pulls Paynuss in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kerr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerr controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kerr cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kerr has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Paynuss is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Juan Kerr!
