Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dolla Drew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Israel Adesanya!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drew connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A big right from Drew misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Adesanya! But no joy.
Adesanya takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dolla Drew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drew throws a nice looking combination but Adesanya bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Drew's jab looks to have found its range, popping Adesanya under the eye.
Drew jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Adesanya is rocked!
Drew definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Adesanya finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Drew's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Adesanya falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dolla Drew!
