Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sirus Hall (ranked 1324 p4p, 2765 weight class) and Bryan Gracie (ranked 209 p4p, 392 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hall might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thin Lizzy - Cold Sweat. Gracie has chosen Limp Bizkit - Rollin' as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryan Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hall's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
It looks like Gracie might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Hall didn't expect that.

Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hall is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.

Hall has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gracie to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hall is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gracie pulls down on the head and he's put Hall to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bryan Gracie!
Bryan Gracie bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
