Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Heller Cabrera (ranked 523 p4p, 718 weight class) and Gauthier Delisle (ranked 66 p4p, 90 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gauthier Delisle!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Delisle sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Delisle throws a body punch but Cabrera moves out of range.
Delisle misses with an uppercut. Cabrera saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Delisle. Cabrera does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cabrera walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Cabrera displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Delisle throws out the jab.
Delisle has a takedown stuffed.
A nice leg kick lands there from Cabrera.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Delisle gets the takedown into side control.

Cabrera has decided that he can't make progress quickly enough from the back position and has rather unusually decided to stand up from the dominant position. Obviously he's going to be looking for the knockout on the feet here!

Cabrera wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Cabrera lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Delisle backwards.
Delisle tries to pull guard but Cabrera forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Heller Cabrera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gauthier Delisle.
Delisle changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cabrera fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Delisle might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Delisle closes the distance and clinches up with Cabrera, looking for a takedown. Delisle pushes Cabrera against the cage but Cabrera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Delisle swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cabrera.

Cabrera lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

A punch lands to the side of Delisle 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Delisle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Cabrera throws a lazy right hand but Delisle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cabrera lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Delisle circles away quickly and effectively.
Cabrera looks to score with a jab to the body but Delisle is just out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delisle shoots in looking for a takedown but Cabrera manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Delisle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cabrera was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
