Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashwin Tyson (ranked 2040 p4p, 2140 weight class) and Jairzinho Teixeira (ranked 286 p4p, 300 weight class). Teixeira has chosen The Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Ashwin Tyson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ashwin Tyson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tyson throws a punch but it's blocked by Teixeira.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tyson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A frustrated look appears on Teixeira's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A body shot lands from Tyson.
Tyson scores with a shoulder strike.
Teixeira wants to get back to striking at distance but Tyson won't allow it.
Tyson lands a body shot.
Teixeira wants to break free but Tyson has control.

Tyson breaks from the clinch.
Tyson lands with a nice body punch.

Tyson throws a big counter combination but Teixeira scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Tyson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at New York Public Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Tyson clinches up with Teixeira and pushes him back against the cage.
Tyson scores with a nice hook to the head.
Tyson pushes Teixeira back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Jairzinho Teixeira has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tyson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tyson connects with a right that clearly hurt Teixeira. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Tyson proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Teixeira collapses and taps out under the pressure!
