The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanley closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Hanley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hanley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sanchez is just riding it out for now. Hanley eventually gives up the hold.

Hanley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hanley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sanchez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hanley.
