Blancho looking to score a takedown here. Carol is defending well but Blancho drives through and ends up in Carol's guard.
Blancho stands up over Carol, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Blancho is in close to Carol's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Blancho loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Carol looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Blancho slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Blancho passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blancho throwing shots but Carol is blocking nicely.

Blancho seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Blancho drops an elbow to the side of Carol's head.

Blancho is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Carol is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
