Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Areeb Bishop (ranked 5019 p4p, 3267 weight class) and Neil Parker (ranked 549 p4p, 412 weight class). Parker has chosen Bring Me The Horizon - Obey as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Neil Parker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Areeb Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Neil Parker! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop misses with a hook
and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Parker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bishop.
It seemed like Parker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Bishop takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Parker moves into the clinch. Good body shot from Parker.
Parker scores with an uppercut up the middle. Bishop manages to break the clinch.
Bishop throws a left and a right that both miss
and Parker counters with a two punch combo. Parker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bishop, pushing him back against the cage. A short left from Parker. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parker keeps control of Bishop as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Bishop's face as he tries to break the clinch. Bishop can't break the clinch.
Parker scores with a shot to the side of Bishop's head. Parker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bishop tries to bum rush Parker with a series of wild strikes but Parker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bishop just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker cracks a nice hook into Bishop's ribs. Parker slips a jab and a cross from Bishop.
Parker thuds a left hand into Bishop's body. Bishop throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Parker counters with a lovely shot to the body. Parker rushes Bishop and presses him up against the cage. Parker lands an uppercut. A short right from Parker on the inside. Bishop is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Parker lands a right hand. Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Decent striking displayed by Parker there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bishop throws a head kick that misses enabling Parker to counter with a crisp jab. Parker cracks Bishop with a good jab. Bishop moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Some bone on bone action there as Parker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Parker takes the fight into the clinch.

and Parker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bishop thinking. Bishop takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Bishop throws a body shot but no joy. Parker moves out of range of the body kick. Bishop throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Parker. Bishop is breathing heavily. Parker jabs Bishop to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bishop walks into a straight right hand from Parker. Bishop lands a leg kick that knocks Parker off balance momentarily. Parker gets a clinch. Parker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bishop misses the shot to the body. Parker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Parker lands a nice shot that snaps Bishop's head back.
Parker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bishop in his tracks.
Bishop is rocked! Parker scores with a hook to the body. Bishop takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Oh Bishop is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Parker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bishop had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Parker with a jab. Bishop thows a leg kick but Parker checks it and Bishop takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nice body punch from Parker. Parker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bishop. Bishop seems to have got his legs back now. Parker keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bishop lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively. Parker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. We've been informed that Parker has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Parker scores with a jab. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Parker! Bishop is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
