Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Minoari Amida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arcot Ramathorn!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amida needs to keep his hands up - Ramathorn had a free shot at his head there.

Minoari Amida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Ramathorn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ramathorn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Amida circles away quickly and effectively.

and Amida finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ramathorn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Amida - the referee stops the clock and Ramathorn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Amida. Ramathorn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
