Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sera Fimm (ranked 4526 p4p, 4330 weight class) and Terrance Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Terrance Silver!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fimm.
Fimm tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Silver counters with a single leg into guard. Fimm didn't expect that.
Fimm is wriggling around but Silver manages to pass to half guard.
Silver thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Silver perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Fimm is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Silver pulls his head out easily.
Silver looks to land a strike but Fimm avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silver wants to pass the guard but Fimm is keeping the position.

Silver is looking to work some ground and pound but Fimm has wrist control.

Fimm has hold of Silver's hands but Silver slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Silver is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silver wants to pass to mount but Fimm is defending the position.
Silver has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fimm moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Silver got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fimm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silver has managed to get both his arms back between Fimm's legs - danger averted.
Silver stands up over Fimm, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silver is fighting to break Fimm's control of his arms but Fimm is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Silver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fimm as he avoids it easily.
Fimm shoots in looking for a takedown. Silver tries to sprawl out of it but Fimm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silver manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fimm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silver as he jumps to the side.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Silver counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fimm tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Silver manages to move to mount!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Silver shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fimm is trying to defend but Silver finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

BOOM! Silver connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Silver is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fimm can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Silver can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fimm is looking to escape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silver avoids the attempt from Fimm to control.
Fimm landing with some feeble shots from his back... He should probably try escaping the position instead.

Fimm tries to hold on but Silver pushes him away.

Fimm is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Silver locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Fimm is forced to tap!
