Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howlett has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vajag finds it's way round the side to connect with Howlett's head.
Howlett fails with the takedown
and Vajag counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Howlett decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Howlett is looking to take a break and control but Vajag is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vajag is trying to stand back up but Howlett is controlling him
Vajag is trying to get back to full guard.
Howlett sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Vajag defending well though.

Howlett is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Howlett missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Howlett is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vajag sees it coming and defends easily.

Howlett has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Vajag keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Howlett maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Vajag could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Howlett has cracked it and Vajag is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Howlett!
