Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wildamir Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Lozoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wildamir Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Lozoya! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva has a takedown stuffed. Lozoya closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lozoya prevents Silva from improving his position. Lozoya is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lozoya. Lozoya is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lozoya to get the leverage. Lozoya working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Silva is looking to escape. Silva wants to improve his position but Lozoya is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva tries to kick Lozoya off in order to stand up. Lozoya Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva being controlled for a moment. Silva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lozoya asserts his dominance and retains side control. Lozoya looks gassed! Silva is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Silva keeps the fight on the outside. Lozoya throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Lozoya on that attempt. Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lozoya is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Lozoya circles away and we're back to standing. Lozoya shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well. Silva closes the distance but Lozoya moves to the side and Lozoya counters by moving into the clinch. Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Lozoya won't allow it.

Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Lozoya swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Silva wants to clinch up but Lozoya keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva moves in looking to clinch but Lozoya pushes him off. Silva throws a right and a left that both miss. Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Lozoya, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Lozoya against the cage but Lozoya circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wildamir Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva throws a series of punches but Lozoya moves out of range. Lozoya tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Lozoya swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Lozoya tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lozoya manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Silva tries for a takedown but Lozoya circles away easily and Lozoya counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lozoya. Silva working a defensive guard but Lozoya manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Silva that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Silva is trying to stand. Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lozoya on the ground. Lozoya working the ground and pound effectively.
Lozoya raining down shots from the mount! Silva is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Lozoya dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lozoya scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Silva wants to control the action here but instead Lozoya manages to pass to full mount! Lozoya lands with some strikes. Silva tries to lock up and control but Lozoya gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Silva really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Lozoya working for a guillotine from mount but Silva is in no mood to give up. Lozoya throwing strikes here but Silva is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lozoya with a couple of short strikes. Silva working to try and regain half guard.
Lozoya has hold of Silva's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Silva manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Silva really wants to buck Lozoya off and get back to his feet. Lozoya is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Lozoya extends the arm and Silva is forced to tap!
