Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duannis Frank (ranked 3396 p4p, 3264 weight class) and Pete Os (ranked 437 p4p, 419 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duannis Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pete Os!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank misses with a kick to the body.
It seemed like Os was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Frank bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Frank swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Frank looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Os looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Some wild striking there from Os.
Frank tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Os is able to avoid easily.
Os throws out a counter right but Frank avoids it with no problem.
Os blocks the body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Os takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

We've been told by Frank's head coaches at Thib's Sweat Shoppe that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Frank cracks Os with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

As Frank backs off Os throws a huge counter combo but Frank manages to avoid it all.

and Os cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Frank rushes Os and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Os takes a shot to the head.
Frank lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Os backwards.
Frank comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Frank misses with an elbow strike.
Os has a couple of punches blocked by Frank.
Frank lands an elbow just above Os 's eye.
Os blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Frank lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Pete Os has been cut.
Frank throws a head punch that misses.

Frank keeps control of Os as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Frank lands an elbow that stopped Os in his tracks for a moment.

Frank can't find room to land a body shot as Os controls the action.

Os is rocked!

That has opened up Pete Os's cut even more.
Frank lands with a light punch inside.
Os is still on wobbly legs! Can Frank finish him?
Frank keeps control of Os as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Os is trying to push Frank away but Frank has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Os has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Frank seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Os can turn it around.
Frank scores with a shoulder strike.
Frank dips a shoulder and cracks Os with a mighty uppercut! Os falls back against the cage and Frank unloads with a barrage of strikes! Os is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Frank screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duannis Frank!
During a confident post fight interview, Duannis Frank thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
