The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luidort looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It looked like Veloso wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Luidort shoots in looking for a takedown but Veloso manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Luidort's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A very excited looking Rui Veloso rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
