Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vasil Dankovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darren Carter!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dankovich throws a nice outside leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dankovich. That's going to slow Carter down.
Carter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dankovich as he avoids it easily.
Carter misses with a takedown
and Dankovich finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Dankovich throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Carter looks winded!
Dankovich lands a nice looking body kick.
Dankovich drops Carter with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Carter looks back up at him and smiles so Dankovich waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Darren Carter has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carter doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dankovich feints a jab and as Carter dips his head, Dankovich unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Carter right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Carter falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Dankovich smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vasil Dankovich!
