Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chamzat Chimaev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sera Fimm!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimaev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fimm avoids it really well and circles away.
Fimm looking to score a takedown here. Chimaev is defending well but Fimm drives through and ends up in Chimaev's guard.
Fimm looking to pass the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chimaev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fimm defends well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chimaev managing to control the position.
Chimaev is trying to keep Fimm in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fimm postures up in Chimaev's guard and throws a big left but Chimaev blocks it.
Fimm wants to pass the guard but Chimaev is keeping the position.
Chimaev controls Fimm momentarily but Fimm frees himself.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fimm with a nice head shot there.
Fimm works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Fimm thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chimaev's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Chimaev controlling the position well.
Chimaev tries to roll over but Fimm keeps him under control.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fimm connects with a nice short shot to Chimaev's temple.
Fimm passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Chimaev!

Fimm tries to control but Chimaev wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chimaev is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Chimaev has left one of his arms exposed and Fimm doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Chimaev screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sera Fimm!
