Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felix Hood (ranked 4506 p4p, 4668 weight class) and Steven Marr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Felix Hood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steven Marr! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marr throws a big shot that misses. Hood tries to counter by clinching up but Marr breaks away and moves out of range. Marr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hood is fending him off so far but Marr persists. Nope, Hood circles away and we're back to standing. Marr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hood.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hood. Marr shrugs it off though. Hood defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marr. Marr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hood to the mat! Hood manages to get full guard. Hood wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Marr manages to pass to side control. Hood is trying to stand back up but Marr is controlling him
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hood is trying to escape back to his feet but Marr uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hood taking punishment in the form of punches.
Hood is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Marr is controlling him well. Marr trying to control the position but Hood is working away. Marr working the ground and pound. Marr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hood wants to get back to his feet. Hood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marr on the ground. Marr trying to control the position but Hood is working away. Hood wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Marr advances nicely into full mount. Hood is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marr looking to isolate an arm here. Hood doesn't see it coming and as Marr extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Marr!
