The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuffs throws a head kick but Fleck moves out of range.
Fleck avoids the head kick by Cuffs.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fleck has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cuffs enables Fleck to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cuffs manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fleck landing with the ground and pound.
Cuffs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fleck on the ground.
Fleck is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Fleck is pushing down on Cuffs's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cuffs is fighting to maintain full guard but Fleck has managed to sneak the leg through.
Fleck looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

It looks like Fisti Cuffs has been cut.
Fleck has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fleck lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cuffs is looking to improve his position but Fleck isn't that keen on the idea.
