Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tommy Walker!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Walker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Walker.
Ford has Walker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Walker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ford is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Walker is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liam Ford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walker tries to throw a body punch but Ford avoids it by throwing Walker back against the cage.
Ford drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Walker working aggressively here.
Walker lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Walker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Walker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ford's elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ford blocks a body shot from Walker.
Ford is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Walker to keep the fight standing.

Ford misses with a head kick.
Ford shoots for a takedown but Walker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Walker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ford will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ford uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Walker.
Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ford takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ford is breathing heavily.
Walker throws a shot from downtown. Ford moves away and avoids it.
Ford tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Walker manages to circle out of the way.
Walker has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ford jumps into guard, dragging Walker to the mat.
Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Ford is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Walker is stalling in the full guard.

Ford looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ford is pulling down on Walker's head to control his posture.
Ford utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Ford is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ford scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Tommy Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ford tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ford throws a push kick but Walker slaps the foot to one side.
Walker misses with a double jab.
Ford closes the distance but Walker moves to the side
and Walker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Walker stuns Ford with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Walker throws a big shot that misses.
Walker throws a body punch but Ford moves out of range.
Ford lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Walker jabs at Ford's body.
Walker connects with a jab.
Walker throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ford clean off his feet! He's out cold! Walker stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
