Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tennis Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maqtawek Nakuset!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis punishes Nakuset's body with a nice straight punch.
Lewis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nakuset's half guard.
Nakuset has hold of Lewis's hands but Lewis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Nakuset trying to hold on to Lewis's head to control him but Lewis postures up.
Lewis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lewis is trying to work for a kimura but Nakuset is defending well.
Nakuset wants to improve his position but Lewis is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lewis not doing much here.

Lewis landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Nakuset wants to control but Lewis is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Nakuset works his way to full guard. Good work.

Nakuset looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Lewis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lewis has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Nakuset is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lewis defends well.
Lewis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Nakuset has his foot on Lewis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lewis works his way back into a safe position though.
Lewis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nakuset controls Lewis momentarily but Lewis frees himself.
Nakuset is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lewis throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nakuset's body to avoid the submission. Nakuset has instead reached around Lewis's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nakuset arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
