Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marty Camozzi (ranked 4546 p4p, 3794 weight class) and Rui Veloso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rui Veloso is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marty Camozzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rui Veloso! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camozzi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Veloso bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Camozzi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Camozzi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Veloso manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Veloso! But no joy. Camozzi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Camozzi looks to land a body kick but Veloso moved away. Veloso looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Camozzi goes for a double leg but Veloso avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Veloso continues to drive forward. Veloso throws out a counter right but Camozzi avoids it with no problem. Veloso digs a right hand into Camozzi's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Camozzi's gas tank. Veloso cracks Camozzi with a nice body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Veloso is looking to break free of the clinch but Camozzi has double underhooks. Camozzi is trying to drag Veloso to the mat but Veloso just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marty Camozzi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Camozzi is breathing heavily. Veloso lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Veloso stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Nice body punch from Veloso - that landed with a thud.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Veloso takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Veloso digs a right hand underneath Camozzi's ribcage. Camozzi let out a lung full of air as it connected. Veloso softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Camozzi keeps control of Veloso as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Veloso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Camozzi tries to work over Veloso's front leg with a kick but Veloso checks it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Veloso! But no joy. Marty Camozzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Camozzi throws a head kick that misses. A countering left hand to the body from Veloso misses. Rui Veloso is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Veloso fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Camozzi to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Camozzi looks to clinch but Veloso throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Camozzi taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
