Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Abner (ranked 2934 p4p, 1675 weight class) and Antun Simunic (ranked 393 p4p, 242 weight class). Simunic comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Monster kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antun Simunic!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simunic pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Uncle Abner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abner throws a jab but it's blocked by Simunic.
A combination from Abner does no damage.
Abner throws a combination that misses
and Simunic counters with a nice right hand that sends Abner toppling to the canvas! Abner scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Simunic finish him?!
Abner is rocked!
It looks like Uncle Abner has been cut.
Simunic throws an uppercut from hell that sends Abner clean off his feet! He's out cold! Simunic stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Antun Simunic!
A relieved looking Antun Simunic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
