The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Read tries to clinch but Epolito moves out of range.
Epolito tests Read's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kaiden Read seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Read tries to clinch there but Epolito circles away.
Read takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Read wants to clinch.
Read gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Epolito looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Epolito lands a left hand that snaps the head of Read backwards.
Epolito swings wildly with an uppercut but Read uses good head movement to avoid it.
Read jumps into guard, dragging Epolito to the mat.
Epolito must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Epolito is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Read has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Epolito is looking to defend but Read has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Epolito! Read pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Epolito taps out and this one is all over!
