Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Gunn!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate tries to clinch but Gunn moves out of range.
Gunn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tate tries to close the distance and clinch but Gunn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tate lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Tommy Gunn has been cut.
Gunn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tate jabs Gunn to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Gunn moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like William Tate has been cut.
Tate closes the distance looking to clinch

and Gunn counters with a single leg into guard. Tate didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tate can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gunn controls the pace.
Tate definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Gunn works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tate is looking to control Gunn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tate avoid being mounted?

Gunn stands up out of the half guard.
Gunn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jab, jab by Tate - just one landing.
A left and a right from Tate both land. Nice combination.
Tate is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tate misses the shot to the body.
Gunn feints the counter takedown.

Gunn throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tate throws a right and a left that Gunn avoids nicely.
Tate moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tate lands a right hook to the body.
Tate throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gunn.

Gunn lands a big head kick that sends Tate tumbling to the mat! Gunn takes a step backwards and waves Tate back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gunn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tate moves away from the strike by Gunn.
Gunn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tate.
Tate lands a two punch combo.

Gunn with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tate seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Gunn shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Tate is backing up but Gunn catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Tate covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Gunn Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
