Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magby Mahrez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joey Fasoli!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ben Watson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahrez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fasoli misses with an uppercut
and Mahrez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mahrez.
Mahrez is standing up over Fasoli. Fasoli looks to escape but Mahrez dives into side control.
Mahrez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mahrez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Mahrez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
