Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tauski Mountain (ranked 22555 p4p, 22999 weight class) and Chong Tay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong Tay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tauski Mountain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 38 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chong Tay! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mountain throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tay sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tay looks like he wants to counter punch here. Mountain misses with a hook
and Tay counters with an inside leg kick. Tay cracks Mountain with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Tauski Mountain has been cut. Tay throws the left hand but Mountain avoids the punch easily. Tay swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Mountain counter with a right hand. Tay throws a solid leg kick but Mountain takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tay. Mountain connects with a body shot that sends Tay's belly button to the back. Tay throws a jab but it's blocked by Mountain. Mountain swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Tay listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Tay darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Mountain misses with a right hand and Tay counters with a stiff right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tay connects with a solid leg kick. Mountain has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tay. Tay throws an overhand right that lands on Mountain's shoulder, as Mountain tries to avoid the shot. Mountain looks to land a left hand but Tay moved out of range nicely. Tay jabbing away but nothing is landing. Mountain swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. That kick from Tay tenderised Mountain's leg. Mountain is trying to keep his angry face on. Mountain ducks under a wild hook from Tay.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tay defending well as Mountain loads up on a big left hand. Mountain ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tay uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mountain. Tay fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mountain. Tay lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mountain throws a hook but Tay blocks it. Tay lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Mountain misses with a looping left. Mountain throws out a powerful jab. Tay gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mountain. The fighters circling - Mountain throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A big right from Mountain misses. Nice defenses there by Tay. We've been informed that Tay has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mountain shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Mountain throws a hook but Tay avoids it easily. A big left from Mountain misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mountain tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Mountain on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mountain is rocked! Tay cracks Mountain with a hook to the temple - Mountain is on wobbly legs here! Tay swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Mountain falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Tay wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chong Tay! Chong Tay was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
