Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Nova (ranked 4495 p4p, 3473 weight class) and Tommy Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kai Nova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tommy Walker!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nova tries to keep at a distance but Walker has taken the fight into the clinch.
Walker tries to throw a body punch but Nova avoids it by throwing Walker back against the cage.

Nova ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nova no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Nova pulls Walker in to control the position.
Nova continues to stall.
More hug and hope from Nova.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nova is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Nova bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Walker's guard.

Nova engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Nova is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nova wanted to stand there but Walker had control of the position.
Nova is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Walker presses Nova against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Nova blocks an uppercut.
Walker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Walker has a couple of punches blocked by Nova.

Nova escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Nova, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nova takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nova pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nova tries for a takedown but Walker circles away easily
and Walker counters with a nice uppercut.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Walker circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Walker counter with a right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kai Nova dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Walker swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nova.

Walker sends Nova crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Walker is motioning to the referee to let Nova up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Nova is rocked!

It looks like Kai Nova has been cut.
Walker closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Nova out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
