Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arm Pitts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lucifer James!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away.
James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pitts.
James throws out a counter right but Pitts avoids it with no problem.
A punch lands to the side of James 's head but he takes it in his stride.
James looks to land a left hand but Pitts moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pitts darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pitts works James's body with a nice hook.
James moves forwards but Pitts connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pitts misses with a body shot.
Pitts lands with an uppercut that bounces James off the cage and back into range.
Pitts lands a jab to James's midsection.
James slips a straight right by Pitts.
James jabs Pitts to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pitts on the side of the head.
Pitts connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed James momentarily.

Pitts lands with a straight right. James didn't see that one coming.
Pitts swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pitts cracks James with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pitts's jab looks to have found its range, popping James under the eye.

James throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pitts sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Arm Pitts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little jabbing left from James on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
James cracks Pitts with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pitts looks to score with a jab to the body but James is just out of range.
James throws out a counter right but Pitts avoids it with no problem.
James missing with a left hand there. Pitts was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pitts ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pitts lands with a nice body punch.

Lucifer James is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pitts connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Pitts is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by James.
Pitts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from James! But no joy.
James scores with a jab to the head.
Pitts definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

James displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pitts throws out the jab.
Pitts shoots in for a double leg but James sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pitts paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Pitts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
James slips a straight right by Pitts.
James cracks Pitts with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Pitts counters with a nice double leg into guard.

James keeping moving, preventing Pitts from controlling successfully.
James wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Pitts thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
James trying to keep a closed guard but Pitts is proving a slippery customer.
James utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Pitts is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
James looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pitts slips nicely into half guard.
James trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
James tries to reverse the position but Pitts maintains control.
Pitts avoids the attempt from James to control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if James can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pitts throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Arm Pitts dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.


Pitts shoots in and bounces James off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
James is looking to stand back up but Pitts counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by James.


Pitts has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can James defend it? Pitts steps over the head and cranks it - James is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pitts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Arm Pitts!
An out of breath Arm Pitts thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
