PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Harry Entei (ranked 19624 p4p, 2059 weight class) and Nik Snow (ranked 524 p4p, 225 weight class). Nik Snow told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 30 - 6, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Entei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 4, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nik Snow!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Entei lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Entei misses with an attempted mid kick.
Snow tests Entei's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Snow will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Snow sizes up Entei with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Snow lands with an uppercut that bounces Entei off the ropes and back into range.

Nik Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been informed that Snow has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Snow connects with a good right hand that stumbles Entei. Entei circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A solid leg kick lands there for Snow.
Snow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That was a close second round but I would say that Harry Entei will probably get the nod.

Nik Snow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
