Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nico DiAngelo (ranked 2778 p4p, 3379 weight class) and Kevin Cool (ranked 334 p4p, 395 weight class). Kevin Cool has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nico DiAngelo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DiAngelo drives through with a takedown into Cool's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Cool tries to close the distance and clinch up but DiAngelo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

DiAngelo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cool was covering up waiting for the punch and DiAngelo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cool is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. DiAngelo is aware though and is defending well.

DiAngelo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cool looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cool looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cool!

DiAngelo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

DiAngelo is trying for a kimura here. Cool looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! DiAngelo wins by kimura!
