Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schullacks smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hedegaard or perhaps it was just good defense by Schullacks, which made it look bad.
Schullacks throws a hook to the side of Hedegaard's head but Hedegaard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hedegaard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schullacks sprawls well. Schullacks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hedegaard gets slowly back to his feet.

Schullacks's coach down at Cozad MMA Hilo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Schullacks's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Hedegaard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Schullacks gets caught flat footed, as Hedegaard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Schullacks has his hands on Hedegaard's head, controlling the position.
Hedegaard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schullacks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hedegaard has managed to get both his arms back between Schullacks's legs - danger averted.
We've been hearing that Hedegaard has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Hedegaard is posturing up here but Schullacks has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hedegaard tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hedegaard has to tap! Slick submission there by Schullacks!
