Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Bright (ranked 3536 p4p, 2519 weight class) and Semba Rua (ranked 442 p4p, 310 weight class). Bright comes to the cage accompanied by Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive. Desmond Bright looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bright tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rua manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Rua has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bright uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
