Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Auric Gallahad (ranked 943 p4p, 1288 weight class) and Oliver Robson (ranked 131 p4p, 175 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gallahad might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Go to War. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Auric Gallahad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Robson! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gallahad shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robson pinned against the cage. Robson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Robson missing with a left hand there. Gallahad was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gallahad half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A nice combination there by Robson.
Gallahad shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Robson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Gallahad is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gallahad controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robson keeping moving, preventing Gallahad from controlling successfully. Gallahad sitting in guard here, content to control. Gallahad wants to control from the top but Robson keeps moving. Robson keeping full guard, as Gallahad tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gallahad seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Robson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Robson throws a leg kick and Gallahad counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Robson is trying to control the position but Gallahad postures up. Gallahad drops back, looking for a kneebar! Robson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Robson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Robson! Gallahad manages to work his way to half guard, despite Robson's best efforts. Robson is trying to control the action in half guard but Gallahad is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gallahad is trying to get back to full guard. Gallahad is trying to control but can't.
Gallahad works his way to full guard. Good work. Gallahad has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Robson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gallahad is looking for a triangle but Robson pushes his legs off easily.
Gallahad throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Robson escapes and throws Gallahad's legs to the side, diving into side control! Robson wants to control but Gallahad is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gallahad tries to bench press Robson off him but Robson keeps the position. Gallahad can't do much from the bottom here. Gallahad is trying to improve his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Oliver Robson will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Robson throws an overhand right that lands on Gallahad's shoulder, as Gallahad tries to avoid the shot. Gallahad has a takedown stuffed. Oliver Robson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robson misses with a straight left. Gallahad feinted with a counter takedown. Robson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gallahad under the eye. Robson with a nice cross. Robson cracks Gallahad with a good jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robson misses the shot to the body. Gallahad changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Gallahad keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gallahad slips under a jab. Gallahad drops down looking for a counter takedown but Robson sprawls and moves away. Robson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gallahad looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Robson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Robson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Gallahad looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Robson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Robson lands with a right hand. Robson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gallahad is out of range. Gallahad half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Oliver Robson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nice jab there from Robson. Gallahad tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robson swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Auric Gallahad. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robson works Gallahad's body with a nice hook. Gallahad doesn't succeed with the takedown and Robson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Robson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Robson tests Gallahad's chin there with a solid looking shot. Robson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gallahad dives in and scores a takedown into Robson's guard. Robson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Gallahad missing with knees to the body.
Robson lands a body punch. Gallahad changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Robson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Robson. No joy for Gallahad on that attempt. Robson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A low kick from Robson misses and Gallahad counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Robson is looking for a sweep. Gallahad wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Robson, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gallahad is looking to take a break and control but Robson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gallahad tries for a kimura but Robson is defending well. Robson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gallahad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gallahad tries to move to mount but Robson blocks the move with his legs. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Oliver Robson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Gallahad steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Robson. Gallahad uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robson.
Robson misses with a leg kick and Gallahad counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Robson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gallahad dives into side control.
Gallahad is trying to move to mount but Robson reverses beautifully and ends up in Gallahad's guard. Gallahad looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Robson passes into half guard.
Gallahad gets full guard. Robson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gallahad seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Gallahad looking for a guillotine here but Robson defends easily.
Gallahad avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gallahad is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Robson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gallahad has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robson has managed to get both his arms back between Gallahad's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gallahad throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Robson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gallahad bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Robson's guard.
Gallahad might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Robson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gallahad sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Robson's guard. Gallahad passes the guard and advances to mount! Gallahad is trying to take his opponent's back.
Gallahad tries to control but Robson wriggling away. Gallahad is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Robson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robson is trying desperately to improve position. Oliver Robson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Gallahad controlling his opponent. Gallahad wants to control the pace but Robson is squirming around nicely. Auric Gallahad has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Auric Gallahad showed his dominance in that final round. I think Robson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
